The Arizona Department of Agriculture’s Pest Management Division regulates structural pest management, including pest control around homes and other buildings. Some state search pages still use “Office of Pest Management” or “OPM.” If you searched for an AZ pest control license lookup or Arizona OPM license search, start with the state’s pest-control business registry. The Department’s Central Licensing Section also links to it.
- Ask for the business’s name and license number. Use the number if you have it; it can help distinguish companies with similar names.
- Search the Arizona business registry by business name or license number. The number field accepts 4–7 digits. Optional city and license-category filters can narrow results. The search shows only the first 100 matches, so use the most specific name or number available. If an active-license filter returns nothing, try again with fewer filters.
- Match the result to the company. Check that the business name and license number match. If the name is close but not identical, ask the company to clarify and search by its license number. If status is unclear or doesn’t appear current, ask the state before relying on the result.
- If you can’t confirm it, try the exact name and number without optional filters. You can contact the Department’s Pest Management Division licensing desk at 602-542-3578 or licensing@azda.gov. The Department says consumers may request business or individual license-status information, including complaint history, online or in writing.
Business license or technician license?
These are separate checks. Arizona’s license-search portal links to separate searches for pest-control businesses and individuals. To look up a technician, use the state’s professional search; it accepts a person’s name, employer name, or certain license ID numbers.
A license lookup checks a state licensing record. It isn’t an endorsement of a company or a guarantee about the work it will perform.
About Phoenix Pest Referral: Phoenix Pest Referral is an independent homeowner guide and referral/connection brand, not a pest-control contractor. It does not inspect or treat homes.
